However, that doesnât mean that The Heist is taking a hiatus from the Billboard 200. Weâre not sure why that happened, but nonetheless itâs good for 2 Chainz, who sold another 8,000 this week bringing his total up to 165,000.Ĩ)     Macklemore & Ryan Lewisâ The Heist: Good news for everyone sick of these two: theyâre taking a hiatus. The rapper has now surpassed 1 milly in sales, by moving 210,068, for a grand total of 1,003,236. Check out the numbers Eminem did this week, along with other rap and r'n'b artists below.ġ) Â Â Â Â Eminemâ The Marshall Mathers LP 2: Eminem hits platinum with MMLP2 within his second week. MMLP2 managed to hit platinum in its second week, while MMLP and other Em albums continue to chart on the Billboard 200. Is the Trill OG falling into irrelevancy, a fate that transpires with many OG rappers? This is most definitely NOT the case with Eminem, especially since every time he drops a new album all his old efforts pop back up on the charts.

Since then, his sales have been on a steady decline. It's not like we're used to seeing Bun B move enormous amounts, but, these sales still pale in comparison to the rest of the Trill series- his Trill debut moved 118,000 units opening week back in 2005. The underground king seems to have stayed in the underground with Trill OG: The Epliogue, as he moved less than 15,000. On the other hand, our OG in the game, Bun B, didn't pull quite such impressive numbers. The EP was projected to move 25-30k, but surpassed 30k with 33,000 units opening week. Her buzz will only continue to climb leading up to the release of her debut album, Soul(ed) Out, and so dropping the EP was definitely a good look for the singer. Jhene Aiko pulled pretty good numbers for her debut EP, leaving us hopeful for what's to come from the West Coast native.
